SENDAI, Japan — Ooyama Wataru is a 29-year old anime fan that has spent the last six months creating an accurate, life sized replica of his sad existance. His creation weights 4 tons, stands 11 feet tall, and is a testament to how he has no occupation that would prevent him from dedicating six months of his undivided attention to something as pointless as this. According to Ooyama, the project cost more than 3 million yen, money he decided would best be spent building this monstrosity.

“I wanted to show my support for the franchise,” stated Ooyama. “I also have no friends and I don’t think my parents ever loved me.”
