HOUSTON, TX – At a local anime club gathering last night, Brennan Williams admitted to fellow attendees that he not only has an interest in football, but he plays professionally for the Houston Texans of the National Football League.
“I don’t want you guys to think I’m like, weird or anything,” explained the 6’6” 318 pound offensive tackle, “but outside of anime in my own private time I enjoy playing professional football.”
An uncomfortable silence swept through the basement room of Tyler’s Games and Cards, where the gathering was being held. Not everyone in attendance admitted to being comfortable with Williams’ hobby.
“I always thought he was a bit of a weirdo,” mentioned onlooker Steven Cork and his body pillow named Shiori, “the guy is just obsessed with that football stuff and it looks totally gay.”
“I don’t really mind what other hobbies you have as long as you keep it to yourself.”
Later in the meeting other participants visibly rolled their eyes as Williams compared Golden Time’s love triangle to a “strong side stunt blitz out of the 3-4 defense”.
