Man Wishes Anime Had Accompanying Gacha Game

POST FALLS, ID — Anime fan Liam Lance reportedly has been disappointed that his favorite new anime Lapis Re:LiGHTs doesn’t have its own gacha game, according to a recent TikTok video.

“This new Lapis Re:LiGHTs series is cool, I love all the idols in training, but something just seems missing,” said Lance. “Wouldn’t it be even better if I could spend all day on my phone trying to get costumes and engage in repetitive RPG-lite battles? I could spend all day and all my money with the girls!”

Liam’s family expressed conflicted feelings on the idea.

“I’m glad he has found something he likes, but a new cellphone game for him seems to be a bad idea,” said Liam’s mother Dina Lance. “All his college living expenses already went to Fate/Grand Order and we had to have an intervention.”

“LMAO, why would he want something stupid like that?” said Liam’s sister Cissie Lance. “If anything, a Tower of God gacha game would be sweet though.”

Anime Fans on social media also shared their perspectives.

“It’s sad when a series does not have enough multimedia platforms and merchandise,” said Twitter user Crunchyrollfan37. “Real fans show their support of a show through spending all their money on the bargains in the Crunchyroll store and Premium+ memberships!”

“There should be a gacha game for Lapis Re:LiGHTs? What?” said Snapchat user GanbatteEchi17. “He clearly doesn’t follow mobage Twitter and it shows.”

A representative for KLab thanked us for the information and said that the second season of Lapis Re:LiGHT will now have multiple scenes of the girls pulling out cellphones and literally playing the phone app along with onscreen direct links to the app store.
