NEW YORK, NY — NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced in a press conference earlier this week that a new season of the National Football League has been green-lit. The announcement comes off after intense speculation and rumors that another season was in the works.
After a popular and successful season last year, fans were hopeful for another season soon. Teasers such as the NFL Combine, NFL Draft, and preseason games have hinted that more NFL was coming, but nothing substantive had been confirmed until now. The NFL will air in the Fall 2014 season, and is speculated to be a 2-cour series running into early 2015.
Roger Goodell will be directing the series again, and the show will continue the story of Peyton Manning, Adrian Peterson, and countless other recurring characters. ESPN has confirmed that a new character will make his debut this season: Johnny Manziel, voiced by Hanazawa Kana.
“A new season of NFL definitely changes the outlook of Fall 2014,” one aniblogger wrote. “though I am still more excited for Inou-Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de.”
