LOS ANGELES, CA — Good Smile Company announced a new Nendroid featuring My Hero Academia character Tooru Hagakure earlier today during a panicked press conference at Anime Expo.
Following the 2017 release of Izuku Midoriya and Bakugo Katsuki Nendoroids, this announcement makes Tooru Hagakure (otherwise known by her hero name: Invisible Girl) the third My Hero Academia Nendoroid. Fans were surprised they did not select major characters such as Ochako Uraraka, Todoroki Shouta, or even fan favorite Tsuyu Asui — instead selecting a relatively minor recurring character.
Good Smile Company also announced Nendoroids of Shizuka Joestar, Marvel’s Invisible Woman, and a special re-release of Akari Akaza. Press were not allowed to touch the new Nendoroids, but representatives showcased the new figures on a table.
Like the releases of Izuku and Bakugo, Tooru Hagakure comes not in her school uniform but in her hero suit. The set does not include Tooru’s boots or gloves, to mirror scenes from the anime when Tooru gets really serious and takes them off. This technically makes Tooru completely nude, the lewdest Nendoroid figure yet!
Like other Nendoroids, Tooru Hagakure comes with multiple face plates, such as embarrassed and determined faces, pictured below.

A large part of the appeal of Nendoroids is their interchangeability. Here is a photo of Tooru cosplaying as Chika Takami from Love Live! Sunshine!!.
Good Smile Company’s Anime Expo announcements were well received by the panel audience, outside of one child who yelled “there’s nothing there!” and had to be escorted from the room.
